SSC CGL Syllabus 2023 for Tier 2
After the preliminary exam has been conducted, it will be necessary to gear up for the Tier-2 Exam of the SSC CGL 2023 Exam. The Mains Exam will be conducted online and is an objective multiple-choice exam, except for Module-II (Data Entry Speed Test) of Section-III of Paper-I.

SSC CGL Educational Qualification 2023
- For the post of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer: A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Chartered Accountant/ Cost & Management Accountant/ Company Secretary and the candidates with a Masters’ degree in Commerce/ Business Studies/ Business Administration (Finance)/ Business Economics can also apply.
- For the post of Junior Statistical Officer: A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics in class 12th or a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
- For other posts: A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.

SSC CGL Answer Key 2023
The SSC CGL answer key is usually released 3-4 weeks after the first tier test has taken place. It helps the candidates to understand their performance in the exam and get a rough estimate of their scores. It can be downloaded from the official website following the mentioned steps:

SSC CGL Selection Process 2023
There are 4 Tiers in the selection procedure for all the posts. The selection procedure is the same for all the categories:
- Tier-I (Computer Based Online Test): The questions will be objective or multiple-choice questions. (MCQ). The exam will be in Hindi and English. The duration of the exam will be 1 hour. There will be a total of 100 questions and the total marks are 200. There will be a negative marking of 0.5 marks.
- Tier-II (Computer Based Online Test): After candidates are shortlisted from the merit list of the first computer-based online test, they will be required to appear for another. The exam will be in Hindi and English. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours. There will be a total of 200 questions and the total marks are 200. There will be a negative marking of 0.5 marks. - Tier-III (Descriptive Test): This test is pen and paper mode. The duration of the exam will be 1 hour. There will be a total of 2 questions and the total marks are 100.
- Tier-IV (Skill Test): Data Entry Speed Test and Computer Proficiency Test will be the constituents of this test. Each test will be for 15 minutes.

SSC CGL Syllabus 2023: Important Points
Tier-I exam is compulsory for all posts mentioned in the SSC CGL 2023 Notification. Candidates will have to prepare for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam simultaneously.
