SSC CGL Syllabus 2023: SSC has released the new exam pattern and syllabus for  SSC CGL 2023 exam and soon will release official notification of the SSC CGL 2023 exam. The Tier-1 Exam of the SSC CGL 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted in June-July 2023. SSC CGL Tier-I Exam Pattern

SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam will be qualifying in nature. As per SSC CGL Syllabus for Tier-1 Exam, there will be 4 sections with 25 questions each. SSC CGL Syllabus 2023 for Tier 2

After the preliminary exam has been conducted, it will be necessary to gear up for the Tier-2 Exam of the SSC CGL 2023 Exam. The Mains Exam will be conducted online and is an objective multiple-choice exam, except for Module-II (Data Entry Speed Test) of Section-III of Paper-I. 

SSC CGL Tier-II Exam Pattern

Paper-I will be conducted in two sessions – Session I & Session II, on the same day and is compulsory for all candidates who qualify in Paper 1. Session-I will include conducting Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III. Session II will include conducting Module II of Section-III. It will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify for all the sections of Paper-I.

SSC CGL Educational Qualification 2023

  • For the post of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer: A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Chartered Accountant/ Cost & Management Accountant/ Company Secretary and the candidates with a Masters’ degree in Commerce/ Business Studies/ Business Administration (Finance)/ Business Economics can also apply.
  • For the post of Junior Statistical Officer: A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics in class 12th or a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
  • For other posts: A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.

SSC CGL Application Form 2023

Candidates should follow the below-mentioned steps to apply online for the SSC CGL recruitment process:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website – ssc.nic.in.
  • Step 2: Click on “Apply” and then on “CGL”.
  • Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar Number, Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
  • Step 4: Enter the OTPs received on your mobile number and email ID and click on ‘Submit’.
  • Step 5: Your registration number and password will be sent to you by SMS and e-mail.
  • Step 6: Upload scanned images of your photograph (not more than three months old from the date of publication of the notice of the SSC CGL exam) and signature in the prescribed guidelines.\
  • Step 7: Next, fill in your personal, contact, and educational details.
  • Step 8: Enter your gender, category, nationality, name of the university, roll number, year of passing, marks, and other information.
  • Step 9: Choose 3 exam centers in the same region in order of your preference.
  • Step 10: Select whether you are applying for the post of Junior Statistical Officer or Statistical Investigator Grade-II.
  • Step 11: Read the declaration, check on “I Agree”, fill the captcha code, and submit the form to proceed to fee payment.

SSC CGL Application Fees

The candidates must submit an application fee before finalizing their online application. The fee payment can be made through credit/debit card, UPI, and Netbanking. Moreover, there is also the option to pay through an offline challan.

SSC CGL Important Documents

There are some important documents are required to finalize the application. Candidates are required to carry the original transcripts at the time of document verification. These documents are-

SSC CGL Admit Card 2023

The admit card for the exams will be uploaded three to four days before the date of the exam. Important details such as the name of the candidate, date of exam, timings, exam center, and other important instructions will be provided on it. Candidates can download their SSC CGL admit card by following these steps:

SSC CGL Answer Key 2023

  • Tier-IV (Skill Test): Data Entry Speed Test and Computer Proficiency Test will be the constituents of this test. Each test will be for 15 minutes.

SSC CGL Syllabus 2023: Important Points

Tier-I exam is compulsory for all posts mentioned in the SSC CGL 2023 Notification. Candidates will have to prepare for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam simultaneously

For SSC CGL Tier 2-

Paper I (Compulsory for all posts), 
Paper II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and

Penalty for wrong answers
